  1. Hey guys,

    Quick question:

I’m finally taking my son to his first pre-release for amonkhet.

He is 8 1/2 years old and has a good feel for the game overall. We have done practice drafts online and one live draft at home. Ill be getting a booster box of Amonkhet to do some more drafting when it comes out.

However with new mechanics, and playing with some strangers without me looking over his shoulder, I’m a little worried.

Any of you been in a similar situation with young kids at a prerelease even if they weren’t your own? I think most of the playgroup at the FNM will welcome with open arms, but there are a few that I think may act annoyed with: making sure he follows the game rules precisely, priority sequence, slower play, etc…

    Any tips would be great.

Last thing, I pulled a Nissa from my Kaladesh packs I was sent. Opening a planeswalker is always a good feeling.
